An fun shoot will also be held for distance shooting.
The official SCA event is on August 12th with sign-ins and gear prep to start at 9am and the hunt beginning at 10am. Event time will vary depending on participants but close of event usually happens at approximately 4pm. The event will be garbed. Loaner garb and some archery gear will be available if you do not have your own. Please let the Steward know if you will require gear.

People are welcome to come to the event site early, from Friday 10th afternoon onward, and spend the weekend camping. There will be an arrow making workshop on Saturday the 11th. You may bring tents or rent a Donga for $10 a night and you must provide your own food. There are fridges and cooking facilities available in the cottage. A spit roast will also be put on for Saturday night to share. If you would like to rent a Donga, please message Ray Kilner through Facebook or e-mail seneschal.dragonsbay@yahoo.com.au.
